We are wrapped in red on the day we die
We are calling for help before we make you cry,
We are little angels unable to swim or fly
We are wearing red just before we die.
Do you people care what colour we wear
Does it ever hurt you if we curse or swear
Do we die in the sea or in this world survive
Are we dead tomorrow or today alive?
Because I’m poor is it the reason I die,
I never was told how to swim or fly
Hungry I was I just wanted some bread
Searching for some food and now I’m dead!
From heavens with angels we’ll save this world
On the day I died so I was told
My father promised once to come again
Justice , love and peace for this world to gain !
No more kids to suffer no more in deep waters
No more dying sons and our poor daughters
From the heavens one day we’ll watch you cry
Don’t you ever let ,poor innocent people die!
Where is the conscience where is your shame
I know you aren’t happy and you live in vain
Will you feel my death in your heart or skin
Will you take me in ,or you’ll remain in sin ?
Red we are wearing so everyone can see
If we drown in the waters or in a blue sea
The colour says stop 🛑 and stop must be
I’m begging for justice, for you and for me !
Red is the colour of a black man and white,
This world must change as nothing is right
How many souls from mothers to be torn
Why do I die before I was born?
Red we are wearing, deep scarlet red
Oh please dear God stop this before I’m dead
Don’t just watch me ,give me your hand
Take me from the sea ,this misery must end .
We are wrapped in red on the day we die
We are reaching angels and the blue sky
We are in peace now and left the hell behind
Oh my dear Lord with me now be kind!
